Slit chair Carl Hansen Bernt Petersen 1983 vintage

Bernt Petersen, affectionately known to everyone as simply “Bernt”, is a Danish furniture designer. In 1957 he completed an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker. From 1973 - 1978 Petersen taught at Denmark's Design School. In the years 1978 - 1985 he was a lecturer at the “Royal Danish Academy”. The “SLIT” chair hardly ever appears, even though it comes from one of the most famous manufacturers Carl Hansen. The design is from 1983. The color yellow was chosen by the Danish painter Ib Geertsen.
