From Luigi Fontana *, the owner of one of the most important industries of glassmaking, and Gio Ponti * Founded in 1932, Fontana Arte goes immediately an accurate way of research, namely: the potential of a material such as glass, whose identity on the technical possibilities of modern industry had been completely transformed to bring in new forms of expression. He Has always been involved in the definition of a new formulation of the contemporary decor, Gio Ponti found in Pietro Chiesa perfect companions. Together, the two Fontana Arte quickly became one of the main protagonists in the development of Italian residential landscape of early modernism. A search that is supported by the cooperation with numerous prominent artists and their privileged field of action in the way that big bourgeois interiors become authentic testing laboratories, where the models of the later series production are perfected. In Cooperation with David Chipperfield 2005 Corrubedo originated wall light. David Chipperfield is considered the architect of the great city projects like the small family homes. Since 1984 he is self-employed and founded the architectural firm David Chipperfield Architects. It currently has offices in London, Berlin and Milan and a representative office in Shanghai.
