Bernt Petersen is a Danish furniture designer. In 1957 he completed an apprenticeship as a cabinet maker. From 1973 - 1978 Petersen taught at Denmark's "Design School". In the years 1978 - 1985 he was a lecturer at the "Royal Danish Academy". The "SLIT" Chair never appears, even though he comes from one of the best known manufacturer Carl Hansen. The design is from the year 1983. The color yellow was chosen by the Danish painter Ib Geertsen. Read less
